The Crawford County Career and Technical Center in partnership with Thompson Learning is offering nearly 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Most online courses through (CCCTC) are 12 lessons, or 6 weeks long. Most cost $89. If there are multiple times when the course will run, choose what works best for you. All registration for online courses must be done by the student online. The online provider sends notification of your registration to CCCTC. Payment may be made by one of three methods: using a credit card at the online web site; mailing a check or money order to CCCTC, noting on the memo line which course payment is for; or paying in person at CCCTC. Payment must be received within four days of the start date. The system will not let you complete the course if payment has not been verified.
Lessons are released online on Wednesdays and Fridays. An average of two hours should be allowed for each lesson. Once a lesson is released, it is available through the end of the course. These are instructor-facilitated classes. They are prepared by experts in the field. These instructors will answer any questions that you email them within 24 hours.
Your final grade is based solely on your final exam. Optional quizzes are provided throughout the course to prepare you for the final exam. When you pass the exam you will receive a certificate.
A more comprehensive explanation will be given at your online orientation.
