The Mission of the Crawford County Career and Technical Center is to provide career and technical education to secondary and adult students in collaboration with family, community, employers and post-secondary providers.

Established in 1968 as Crawford County Area Vocational Technical School, the school has served the needs of Crawford County area students and business for over 40 years.

To reflect the ever changing world of technology, the school changed its name to Crawford County Career and Technical Center in 2008.

The Career Center serves eight public and several private high schools in the Conneaut, Crawford Central and PENNCREST school districts. In addition, programs are available for adult students in nursing, commercial truck driving, manufacturing and personal interest courses. Finally CCCTC offers over 300 quality, teacher interactive on-line courses in a wide variety of subject areas.

The school is located in northwestern Pennsylvania, approximately 40 miles south of Erie, in the county seat of Meadville. The Career Center serves an average of 700 secondary and post-secondary students per year.

NeilMr. Neil Donovan has been an academic and vocational teacher and administrator in northwest Pennsylvania since 1981.  He studied education at Penn State and has Master’s Degrees from Indiana University of PA and Edinboro.  Mr. Donovan received his Vocational Director’s Certification from Penn State in 2004 and his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility in 2006.

Married, with two college aged children, Neil is a practicing artist and loves all things outdoors.

PaulMr. Paul Livermore, has been the Assistant Vocational Director of Crawford County Career and Technical Center since January 2004. He studied education at Penn State University and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Industrial Education in 1984. He was a Carpentry Teacher and Cooperative Education Coordinator for eighteen years. Mr. Livermore received his Vocational Administrative Director Certification in 2002 and his Master of Education in Workforce Education and Development in 2003.
