On-line Courses

The Crawford County Career and Technical Center, in partnership with Cengage Learning is offering over 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Most online courses through CCCTC, are 12 lessons, or 6 weeks long. Most cost $95. If there are multiple times when the course will run, choose what works best for you. All registration for online courses must be done by the student online. The online provider sends notification of your registration to CCCTC. Payment may be made by one of three methods: using a credit card at the online web site; mailing a check or money order to CCCTC, noting on the memo line which course payment is for; or paying in person at CCCTC. Payment must be received within four days of the start date. The system will not let you complete the course if payment has not been verified.

Lessons are released online on Wednesdays and Fridays. An average of two hours should be allowed for each lesson. Once a lesson is released, it is available through the end of the course. These are instructor-facilitated classes. They are prepared by experts in the field. These instructors will answer any questions you email them within 24 hours.

When you complete the course, e-mail mgbacon@ccvts.org. State your name, school district and course title so we, as the provider, can submit your completion hours for Act 48 credit.

Crawford County Career and Technical Center offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations.

Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, who work to provide the most effective web-based learning experience available today. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience. They respond to any questions or concerns, as well as encourage and motivate you to succeed.

Each program includes a set of lessons and evaluations; grades are a combination of the instructor/mentor's evaluation of students' work and computer graded tests. We know you'll appreciate the quality as well as the convenience of anytime, anywhere learning!

These classes are longer, more intensive and more expensive than the Ed2Go Courses described to the left. Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000.
