The first class of The Crawford County Career and Technical Center Practical Nursing Program graduated in 1969.  Since then, a class has graduated every year.  A class begins every July and concludes in June.  The Practical Nursing Program consists of twelve months of classroom/clinical instruction, or 48 weeks.  The program is divided into trimesters, each 16 weeks in length.  The program runs Monday through Friday, with classroom days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and clinical days from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  All classroom instruction is held at the Crawford County Career and Technical Center; clinical experiences are held at a variety of institutions in the area including Meadville Medical Center, Crawford County Care Center, Wesbury United Methodist Home, Rolling Fields, home health agencies, physicians' offices and other community-based nursing health care facilities.
